TAKOMA PARK SENIOR PROGRAM

Artists from Art For The People have provided arts and crafts workshops through the Takoma Park Recreation Council since 2001.

The Maryland State Arts Council funded a AFTP program called "The Gift of Art". Seniors sewed blankets for the residents of the Helping Hands Family Shelter in Rockville, Maryland and painted small acrylic works which were donated to Holy Cross Hospital adult day care.

AFTP provides ongoing arts and crafts to seniors.
